Wild Lily

This is a genus of flowering plants growing from scaly underground bulbs, preferring semi-shady areas with moist, slight acidic humus soil conditions and good drainage. The wild lily is hardy and can withstand temperature as low as -5℃. Four species are indigenous to Taiwan – L. Formosan, L. speciosum var. gloriosoides (critically endangered) and L. Formosanum var. formosanum.
